An annual service is a yearly safety check on the boiler to ensure it is running safely and efficiently. A boiler that is neglected/poorly maintained  arises the potential serious health risk to all occupants of the property as this can cause fatal Carbon Monoxide poisoning. You need your boiler to operate at its most efficient capability. Using a Car as analog; You ensure your vehicle is up to date with its MOT so that all its individual components: (such as) Breaks, Exhaust and Suspension are in good working order to enable them work in sync with one another to operate the vehicle as a whole. Well same goes for your boiler. Its individual parts need to be cleaned, checked and tested for optimum operation as a combined unit. What do our engineers do during a boiler service?

1. Our engineer will inspect your boiler and controls to make sure they are operating

2. The inspection will include checking your boiler for corrosion and leaks.

3. Your boiler casing will be removed to check the functioning of its main components.

4. A gas pressure check will ensure your boiler is operating at the correct gas pressure.

5. A flue test will ensure that no unsafe emissions are being released from your boiler.

6. Your boiler’s parts will be cleaned as required.
